Install the desktop app

Ledger Desk runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The installer brings everything it needs; nothing else has to be installed first.

Download

1. Sign in to your account on xssit.com.
2. Open your Ledger Desk licence and download the installer for Windows. The file is called Ledger Desk Installer 1.0.3.exe (the numbers change with each version).
3. Save it on the counter computer.

Install

1. Double-click the installer.
2. Windows asks whether the app may make changes and names the publisher XTREME SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS & IT: the installer and the app are signed by us. Press Yes. If the name is missing or different, do not run the file; download it again from your account.
3. For the first downloads of a new version Windows SmartScreen may still show Windows protected your PC while it gets to know the file. The publisher shown is the same; press More info, then Run anyway.
4. Choose the language of the wizard (English or Spanish) and follow it: accept the licence, keep the folder it suggests, and tick Create a desktop shortcut if you want one.
5. At the end the installer prepares Ledger Desk so it opens quickly. This takes a few seconds; let it finish.
6. Leave Launch Ledger Desk ticked and press Finish.

To use a customer tablet or the shop network of offline mode, install as an administrator for everybody (see The desktop app), or allow Ledger Desk on private networks the first time Windows asks.
