Help
On this page
Most questions are answered in the pages of this documentation. When something does not work as expected, start here.
Where to look
- Troubleshooting: common problems (the server, signing in, printing, the scanner, the tablet, card payments, messages) and what the error codes mean.
- Release notes: what is new and what was fixed in each version.
- The Ledger Desk page: plans, prices and how to buy.
- Getting started: the path from a new shop to the first ticket.
Error messages
When something goes wrong, Ledger Desk shows a plain message with a small line such as LDK-4003 · Ref 7f3a9c2e. The code says what happened; the reference lets our support team find the exact moment on your server. Copy it with Copy reference when you ask for help. When the server refuses what you typed, the fields that need attention are marked and named in the message.
Contact support
- Open the support ticket form of your account on xssit.com (Support on the sign-in screen, or Contact support in the user menu and the command palette, opens it for you) and sign in.
- Say what you were doing, what you expected and what happened.
- Paste the code and the reference of the error, and the version (bottom left of the sign-in screen, or System Info).
- Add a screenshot if it helps. A Developer can also attach the desktop log (System Info → Open log folder).
Support comes with every plan: by email in Basic, with faster answers in Standard, and priority support in Premium. Work on your server (its address, mail server, backups to the cloud, moving it) can be asked of our team through a support ticket. After the deployment, the server and its data are in your care.
